Farmer Mya

Mya and I took a trip to California to visit with Dustin's Dad Darrell, Step-Mom Candice and Brother Trevor. While we were there, Papa Darrell took Mya and I to Micke Grove Park where they have a zoo and many other things.

The weekend we went they were having an event called "Farm to Fork" where kids learn about the different things that have to happen to get food on the table. In one area, Mya took a loan from the bank to buy seeds, she then had to plant them. She was great, as you can tell from the video!

Then, she harvested her vegetables. I didn't take a video of this, but she was really good at that too. From the harvest, she went to market and sold her veggies and paid off the bank and was able to buy a treat from the store with her profit. She bought raisins and wouldn't put them down until they were gone. She had a really good time, and we loved watching her.
