Easter Eggs

We had an Easter Social at church today that was breakfast and then an Easter egg hunt. Originally, I was quite concerned that the big kids would run over the little kids, or the big kids would get the eggs 1st, and the little kids wouldn't get any. I was ready to run over the big kids if my Mya was run over. And I was serious. However, all my fears were in vain, the activities committee did an excellent job of separating the kids by age, and there were plenty of eggs.

As you can see from the video, Mya was the little Easter Egg bully! She yells "no" at Roman, and then swoops in before another little boy and takes the egg his Daddy pointed out to him. Thankfully, kids are resilient, and nobody had hurt feelings...as far as I know.

When all the eggs were picked up, we found out that there was one more, THE GOLDEN EGG. Dustin found it hiding in a tree. We pointed it out to 3 kids, and Mya was the one who ended up getting it. GREAT! She was awarded with a chocolate bunny as tall as she is. Just what we need!
