FISH!

Dustin finished up his night flying this week, and wanting to be able to spend some time as a family together, we decided to head to lake here on base. Of course, we invited friends, it's always more fun that way. There were little fish swimming all around our feet, and I decided it was my mission to catch one. It started rather "caveman-ish" with my hands and then a bucket. Thankfully, I remembered there was a net in the car. YES! So, net in hand, we caught a few fish and transferred them to the bucket so that Mya, Aiden and Parker could look at them up close and touch them. It was such a hit. And I must say, I felt rather triumphant catching them too!

Ashlee looking for more fish, we only tormented the poor things for a couple of minutes. We didn't want them to die, so we had to get some more.

Of course, my stubborn, Do it herself child, won't let anyone help. She's so strong willed!
