Ft. Benning for a weekend

This past weekend, Mya and I went to Ft. Benning with Megan, Parker and Dallin (who is going to live with me, and will be my child from now on...sorry Kyle, just the way it goes....) to see Kyle graduate from Airborne School. Actually, I went to visit friends, but I also went to the graduation...ANYWAY, the 1st night we were there, we went and visited our old neighbors, Dennis and Peggy. Of course, we went to mooch food off of them, they always have something fantastic to eat. For dessert, we were eating fresh cut fruit. Mya saw us using a very wide spoon to dish it out onto plates. Being in a "helpful" mood, she was dishing everyone up. Of course, it got to the point where we weren't going to be able to eat all she was dishing up, so I said, "Ok, Mya, eat it now." She promptly started eating the fruit, out of the bowl with the wide, long handled spoon. It was so cute, I just wish I would have had my video camera available for it. DANG, 2 times this week now!

While in Columbus, we stayed with T and Corinne Holton, friends from our old ward there. Their house was near destroyed last year from the March 1st tornadoes. Thankfully, it's been rebuilt, now just the finishing touches....poor Corinne, the contractors always make such a mess, and never clean up after themselves!! They added a pool to the house though, and the kids (and adults) had a great time swimming and spending time with them. Mya loved all the baby dolls and accessories to play with. We really appreciate the Southern Hospitality we received there. THANKS!!
