Flat Stanley

My Nephew Ryker is doing a Flat Stanley project in his 1st grade class and we get to participate! For those of you who don't know who Flat Stanley is...here is a little info (from my understanding!) Flat Stanley gets sent to different parts of the world to family and friends. Once he arrived at my house, we made him clothes to represent where we live and include some photos of Flat Stanley taken around our town. So, the only thing at Ft. Rucker is Army Aviation. It was an easy choice on how to dress him. The photo here is one of the ones I'm sending with him to Ryker's class. I think this is a great idea and helps the kids learn in a fun way about different parts of the world! Welcome to my corner of it! HELICOPTERS! We are also sending a pencil sharpener in the shape of a Black Hawk with a note to the class about Dustin flying those. FUN!
