Big Girl Bed!
YAY! We finally did it! And she's not even 2 yet! It's not her actual toddler bed, we just took the one wall from the crib off, but she sleeps in it. Her 1st nap time (and 1st time) in the bed, she actually slept next to the door, and we thinks he might have fallen out of bed the 1st night, but since then (almost a week), she has stayed in it and wakes up really happy. We've decided that when Mya and I go to Idaho for a couple of weeks, Dustin will take down the crib and put up the toddler bed and we'll be done with it. Hopefully sleeping in a play pen for a couple of weeks won't put any backward motion on this. Maybe one day, we'll get rid of her "lovey"!!?? But I'm not ready for that battle now, and probably never will be!

Hi Holly! I'm sorry to hear about Mya's asthma troubles. I'm glad that she is better now. She has gotten so big, and she is so adorable! Congrats on the big girl bed!
Hey Holly, Just a word of advice STAY WITH THE CRIB!!!! Asher was the BEST sleeper I've ever known until I put him in a big boy bed. He did fine for about a week, and then realized his new freedom. He stopped napping and his bedtime went from 7:00 to midnight (because he wasn't not penned up anymore, and ran around LONG after he's way too tired to be running around.) It got so bad that I stuck him BACK in his crib. But his few weeks of climbing in and out of bed gave him the confidence to climb out of his crib too. Seriously--I really regret it. Embrace the crib! With any luck Frankie will be in her crib until she's 3, because I will not make that mistake again.
