Fort Lewis, WA

Ok, now that I've calmed down a little bit...YAY!!!! So, as many of you know, this is the 1 place that we REALLY wanted to go. We were stationed there a few years ago and loved it. We have friends there, and it's 1/2 between parents, and driving distance. FINALLY! We are moving farther away from some family, but that can't be helped.

Now, I'm not 100% on how this happened, but I think this is why...don't quote me, I could be wrong...but Dustin said that they are either starting a new Cavalry Striker Unit, or they now want Blackhawk support for it, but because of that, 6 positions opened up, so anyone in Dustin's class who requested Lewis got it. So, I guess it comes down to Heavenly Father knew what we needed and he supplied a way. I really feel like that is the only explanation, and I'm NOT about to argue with it. I can't wait to be only 45-60 minutes away from a temple! And for any of you who haven't been to Western Washington, it's beautiful! We hope that the different climate will be better for Mya's allergies and asthma too.

We don't have our orders yet, so we're not sure when we are supposed to report there, but Dustin graduates on July 24th, and my parents fly out on the 29th. I imagine we will be leaving within a week of that. We still haven't decided on in we are doing a ditty move or not, but we have about a week to decide.

This is really all of the info that we have right now, but we'll keep updates here as we finds them out. YAY!! (this is better than seeing a dead armadillo on the side of the road!)
