Mya's Room

We are waiting on our new carpet, and she has some new furniture that will be going in here too, along with curtains and stuff to hang on the walls, but I just had to post some of the progress we've made. It feels like it's taking forever, even though we've only been in since Thursday night.

Last night after I got the tape off after the 2nd coat, I called Mya and Dustin in to see it. Mya's word for 'pink' is "pretty". She walked in, gasped and said "Oh Mama, PRETTY! Pretty Mama!" and then she rushed over and hugged my leg. It made every minute I worked on this room worth it. She can be so darn cute sometimes!!

The guest bath should be done tomorrow, and the master bedroom is after that. We're just trying to get it all done before the carpet and furniture get here!!
