Rag-a-muffin

My Poor Neglected Child. She had to build her own bed in a half empty box. She's filthy. It's a wonder she is smiling.

She is actually doing really well with all the change, but she has been ignored a bit lately with all the painting we are doing. Today, I was scrubbing the kitchen while I was waiting for paint to dry, I came around the counter and found her like this. And she watched cartoons there for at least an hour (as you can see from the glazed look in her eyes). At this point in the day, I hadn't cleaned her up after breakfast, lunch, or a fruit roll-up, so she looks pretty rough, but all kids love being dirty, right?
